How do I reserve my Wedding date?

All it takes to book your wedding is a payment of $500, and a completed and signed contract. For a Weekender package, the deposit is $1000.

Will you hold my date while I look around at other venues?

No. It's only fair for everyone to book dates with a signed rental agreement and paid event deposit.

How many can you accommodate inside of the barn?

Accepted Answer

We can be flexible with certain scenarios, but seat up to 250 guests inside of the barn.

Does Notus Farmhouse supply linens?

Linens are available to rent from us. Black, white, gold & burlap. If choose The Weekender Package the linens are included.

How many tables ? How many seats at each table?

We have Twenty Five 60 inch round tables. Up to 8 can be seated at each table.
We have Two 10’ custom made Farmhouse Tables. Up to 10 can be seated at each table.
We have Four 6’ tables
We have Two 8’ tables

Are decorations provided with The Weekender Wedding or Single Day Wedding?

We provide tables, chairs, ferns, small tables, 3 Jack Daniel Whiskey Barrels, etc... Our goal is to create an ambiance that is easy to work with for any wedding style. If you had something special in mind, please bring it to management so we can let you know if it can be accommodated. Are there chairs for outside ceremonies?

We also have 300 white folding chairs these can be rented or in some cases are included in the rental fee.

Do you have a ceremony backup plan for inclement weather?

Of course! The ceremony will take place inside the venue. You can create an aisle with adequate seating for your guests.

Do you have indoor bathrooms with handicap accessibility?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have mens & womens bathrooms inside the Barn with full handicap accessibility designed to accommodate large events. The rental of outside Porta Potties is not necessary.

Is smoking allowed inside the venue?

No. Smoking is only allowed outside the venue in designated areas. Please dispose of all cigarette butts.

What time do couples normally schedule their ceremony?

We will unlock the doors for you at 8 a.m. the day of your wedding. The timeline is yours to plan but we do recommend that a ceremony takes place later in the day to give you & your vendors time to get ready and set up.

Can we have alcohol?

If you choose to supply your own pre-made signature drinks, beer or wine, it must be an open-bar and no money can be exchanged.

Yes. Please refer to our Preferred Vendors list to decide which caterer is right for your wedding.

Most of our guests do not live in the area. Where would they stay?

There are many choices for guest accommodations in the area. Cherokee Casino & Hotel is just 5 miles away, and will block rooms for your wedding at Notus Farmhouse.

Can we have a pet in our ceremony?

Yes! We’re huge animal lovers at Notus Farmhouse, but for everyone’s peace of mind we ask that they only are a part of the ceremony and pictures- not the reception.

Can we set up yard games?

Yes. Notus Farmhouse has 2 sets of Corn hole that can be used at your event.

Are there decorating restrictions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please avoid the following when decorating: sand, unprotected candles, glitter, paper confetti, bubbles, cornmeal (for dancing), silly string, and nailing, screwing. Also, please use non-marking tape (i.e. duct tape not permitted).

Alcohol requirements and limitations?

$150/5 hours will supply an off-duty officer (supplied by Notus Farmhouse) for Single Day Weddings
Licenced Bartender is required and NOT provided by Notus Farmhouse
Only drinks allowed are Beer, Wine and up to two Signiture Drinks (Example: Margaritas, etc...)
No straight Alcohol Allowed (Example: Shots, straight Whiskey on Ice, etc..)
Officer is included in the Weekender Package
